2008.02.10 marked the day that [a]narchy had its first collaborative effort put into motion, via a fashion show with takuya angel at alamode night. we cleverly decided to participate five days before the actual event, with 20 models’ heads to adorn with hairpieces…and all i can say is: planning ahead is definitely the smarter option. ;P despite the short timeframe, we were able to get everything finished on time and be part of a brilliant show. the hardest part about this collaboration is to make hair that doesn’t lose to the bright colours and design of the clothing, and vice versa…but it’s been a really great opportunity to experiment with traditional japanese materials, and also to work with all the people who make japanese street fashion as well-known as it’s become. thank you to everyone who participated, and also to everyone who came to see the show!
2月10日に東京のアラモードナイトにて、卓矢エンジェルとコラボファッションショーをやってきました☆ 参加することになったのはショーの５日間前という超ギリギリな作業の時間となったんですが、どうにか無事に20人のモデルさんのヘアピースを仕上げて、めちゃくちゃカッコいいショーに[a]narchyのコラボ作品をデビューしました！

このコラボの一番難しいのはやっぱり「割合」。ヘアピースが服に負けないこと、そして服もヘアピースに負けないことですね。それを意識しながら作ってきたんですが、合わせたら素敵なアクセントになるのでこんな有名なブランドと一緒にコラボをすることが出来て凄く嬉しいです♪ 参加した皆さん＆観に来てくれた皆さん、ありがとうございました！！

well, hello there. this blog is being brought to you by [a]narchy’s lovely assistant and co-creator, kaytea. we decided to introduce a blog to the site so people could get a better idea of what exactly it is that we do here. while we mainly use the gallery to showcase whatever we’ve been making recently, there are always so many extra shots, bits of information, or comments that end up getting lost, and this blog will make it possible to show you what goes on in our slightly-twisted little minds.
in the last two years, we’ve had clients come from all over the world to have their heads manipulated by us, and we cannot even begin to say how thankful we are. harajuku is littered with hairdressers, but despite that fact, there have been an extremely dedicated group of people who have taken interest in what we do, and kept our minds at work, making new creations and trying new things.

ブログぉ初です！！☆ [a]narchyの看板娘のkayteaでございます。（笑）今まで作品の画像がこのサイトのメインの内容となってたんですが、これから[a]narchyの裏側というか、作品に対しての意見とか、他の写真とか、「これを作るのにこんなことをやってた！！」というのを知って欲しいという気持ちで始めました。

この2年間で世界中の色々な国から頭をやってもらうためにわざわざ[a]narchyに来て頂いた方々がいて、言葉だけじゃ伝わらない位感謝してます！！♪ 原宿は美容室だらけなのに頑張ってこっちを探してくれる人がいるなんて、本当に嬉しいっす！インターネットのぉ陰でこの小さな所でイジってる頭が知られてるんですが、今まで本気で応援して頂いてるお客さんのぉ陰で毎日新しいものを作ることが出来るようになりました。

これからも頑張っていくぜぇ！！ 2008年こそ宜しくお願いします！！
